Kenneth first and foremost

As you probably know, I used to go mostly as Ken, and now I go mostly as Kenneth.

To be more specific, as I was explaining to someone at a party recently: I grew up Kenneth, was Ken in college and beyond, and am now Kenneth again.

I went on to say that I am, in effect, reclaiming Kenneth. My friend Liz then gave the best analysis of I've heard of this: Kenneth is a foreskin I can grow back.
