This AP article reports that the name and address of Seymour Hersh are listed in the Washington, D.C. white pages. Hersh is, you'll recall, the journalist whose New Yorker articles have prominently documented the Abu Ghraib prison abuses, and during the Vietnam War he won the Pulitzer Prize for his reporting of the My Lai atrocities.
So I just checked Google, and Hersh is indeed easy to contact at home. I'm not going to tell you his number, though, because he is a busy man.

Vast wasteland
Ever since Ereck and I moved in together two years ago, one of our TV sets has sat in a closet, unused. I recently set it up in my home office, and now, in addition to working in the daytime, I get to watch "Starting Over."
Sigh. I need a life coach.

Kenneth first and foremost
As you probably know, I used to go mostly as Ken, and now I go mostly as Kenneth.
To be more specific, as I was explaining to someone at a party recently: I grew up Kenneth, was Ken in college and beyond, and am now Kenneth again.
I went on to say that I am, in effect, reclaiming Kenneth. My friend Liz then gave the best analysis of I've heard of this: Kenneth is a foreskin I can grow back.
