For some reason I can't stop thinking about a man-on-the-street gag from the very early days of "Late Night With David Letterman," circa 1984. Letterman stood in front of a strangely named Manhattan boutique and asked passersby what they thought the name of the shop meant. The name of the store: The Richness That Is Woman.
